Love in a Cage

L'amour en cage is the french nickname for the Physalis (cape gooseberry) and translates literally to mean 'love in a cage'. It's vibrant color and delicate silhouette inspired French patissier Rudy Chartier and when his wife and love Lisa Diamond presented him with a birthday cake decorated with physalis, the story of this delectable village patisserie was born.
